[Softbank Hawks] Results of fundraising for the 'Reiwa 8 Kumamoto Earthquake' announced; 15,373,265 yen donated to affected areas

On the 24th, the Softbank Hawks announced the total results as of August 16 for the fundraising activities conducted by the players' association to support the areas affected by the Reiwa 8 Kumamoto Earthquake.

Before the game against Lotte on the 11th (at Mizuho PayPay Dome), Manager Hiroki Kokubo, Player Association Chairman Ryoya Kurihara, and other players including Riku Watanabe, who is from Kumamoto, called for donations outside the stadium.

The total amount donated, including 494,634 yen collected at that time and donations made at the team's facilities in Chikugo, came to 15,373,265 yen. The announcement was made with the words, "We would like to express our sincere gratitude once again for everyone's warm support, and we pray for the speedy recovery and reconstruction of the affected areas."
