◆ Seibu Lions Pacific League: Seibu vs. Orix Buffaloes (18th, Tokyo Dome)

Orix Buffaloes and Hitomi Honda pitcher moved up to mound in the sixth inning (2-7), moving up to fourth in the sixth inning. This was the first time in 728 days that the mound of the first team had been in the Seibu Lions game (Maebashi) on August 20, 2024. First, he let go of the lead, Futoshi Sato, and got the struck out out of the field.

With one out, he allowed a double to Nishikawa infield hit and a fly ball to left field by Kojima doble, putting runners on second and third. He then retired Nevin on a groundout to shortstop. However, he gave up a hit to Canario Walk. After undergoing right elbow surgery in September 2013, he re-signed as a developmental player during the offseason of the same year. The right-handed pitcher, now in his ninth year with the team, made a comeback on July 30th, with a top speed of 150 km/h.
