On the 18th, Orix Buffaloes announced that Orix Buffaloes vs. Hiroshima professional baseball farm regular season game to be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Satoyaku The Buffaloes Stadium (Nara Prefectural Kashihara Park ball park) in Kashihara City, Nara Prefecture, will be held as a commemorative game for the registration of "Asuka-Fujiwara Palace" as a World Heritage Site.

The Buffaloes' farm team regular season in Nara Prefecture were launched in 2015 as a collaborative project between the team, local governments, businesses, and educational institutions, with the aim of contributing to the promotion of sports and the healthy development of young people in Nara Prefecture. This year marks the 12th year of the project.

To celebrate the registration of the town where the stadium is located, "Asuka-Fujiwara Palace," as a World Heritage Site, the first 1,000 attendees will receive a commemorative towel for the World Heritage designation.
