On the 17th, Lotte announced that mixed martial artist Tenshin Nasukawa (from Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture) will be attending their game against Softbank Hawks on August 26th (Zozo Marine Stadium, game starts at 6:00 PM).
On the same day, a special event called "The Marines Summer Festival" will be held, with Tenshin Nasukawa appearing to throw the ceremonial first pitch. The ceremonial first pitch is scheduled for around 5:40 PM.
The Marines Summer Festival will be held over six games from August 21st to 27th, featuring festival games and food stalls around the stadium, as well as festival-themed performances and summer festival-themed decorations inside the stadium. After the game on August 23rd, 1,000 "The Marines Grand Fireworks" will be launched, making it a special event where fans can fully enjoy a summer festival at Zozo Marine Stadium.
