◆ Pacific League: Orix Buffaloes vs. Nippon-Ham (16th, Kyocera Dome)

Nippon-Ham Fighters outfielder Yuma Imagawa hit his first home run of the season, a two-run shot.

In the bottom of the 8th inning with no outs and a runner on first, Imagawa was brought in as a pinch hitter and perfectly timed cutter from Orix Buffaloes 's Abe. It was a massive blast that landed in the fifth deck. The moment he hit it, Imagawa let out a roar while still holding the bat, and as he rounded first base, he powerfully swung his right fist down.

Imagawa was promoted to the first team for the first time this season on the 14th. He started in starting line-up against Orix Buffaloes (at Kyocera Dome) that same day, but went hit in three At Bat-bats.
