Softbank Hawks outfielder Kensuke Kondo hit a go-ahead RBI single in the fifth inning.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, with two outs and runners on first and second base, he stepped up to the plate and connected with Kosha's third pitch. He pulled the ball hard, and it hit the right field wall directly, resulting in a go-ahead RBI single.

Kondo has reached 87 RBI, the same number he had when he won RBI title in 2023. In his 104th game of the season, he has matched his career high.
