◆パ・リーグ　オリックス４―１２日本ハム（１５日・京セラドーム大阪）

Orix Buffaloes ・ Tomoya Mori catcher has been removed from the active roster. In the previous day’s game on the 14th against the Nippon-Ham (Kyocera Dome Osaka), he started as “No. 7, DH” for the first time in five games, but was replaced by pinch hitter Nishino with two outs in the seventh inning—with the score tied—and was taken out of the game. Manager Mamoru Kishida acknowledged that the player had suffered an injury to his left wrist“He was taken out early yesterday for the same reason. He just wasn’t in a condition to give it his all right now. I hope he’ll be back soon, though,” he said.

He continued, "I think it will depend on his condition when it comes back. He has been pushing himself to play for the team. I think his full swing is symbolic of Tomoya Mori, but he has been unable to do that as much lately. He has been enduring the pain and playing despite it, but we want him to take a break and freshen up." This marks his second absence this season, following his removal from the active roster on June 2nd due to the same injury.
