Orix Buffaloes Koji Oshiro infielder Koji Ohshiro has rejoined the first team. In his 11th professional season, he injured his left ankle while base running after hitting doble in the first inning of the game against the Chiba Lotte Marines on April 22nd (at ZOZO Marine Stadium). He was removed from the active roster the following day, April 23rd, and had been undergoing rehabilitation.

He returned to action in June, playing in 13 games in the farm league. He posted a batting average of .389 with one Home Run and three RBI, and also demonstrated defense at second base and shortstop. This reliable player is also known for his tenacious hitting. Whether starting or coming off the bench, he's a dependable presence back.
