◆ Pacific League: Nippon-Ham vs. Seibu Lions (13th, ES CON FIELD)

On the 13th, Seibu Lions will face Nippon-Ham (at Escon Stadium) aiming for their first three-game sweep against the same opponent since their series against Hiroshima from June 9th to 11th (at Belluna Dome).

In the lineup, first-round draft pick Kojima—who hit a game-winning three-run homer, his sixth of the season, in the previous night’s game—was removed from the starting line-up, and in his place, Yuto Koga catcher started as the “No. 4 batter and DH.” Takeya Nakamura infielder, in his 25th professional season, appeared on the starting line-up for the sixth consecutive game as the “No. 5 batter and DH.”

The starting pitcher will be Allan Winans who will be making his first appearance in a first-team game since the game against Softbank Hawks on July 1st (at Mizuho PayPay Dome).
