Rakuten Eagles Soshi Yoshino outfielder Sosuke Yoshino joined the first team on the 11th.

Yoshino is a fifth-year position fielder who joined the team in 2021 as the first overall pick in the draft from Shohei High School. He is a 186cm, 78kg right-handed hitter with high abilities in hitting, fielding, and running. He recorded his first professional hit last season.

This season, he has appeared in 7 games for the first team with a batting average of .111, and in the farm league with a batting average of .271, 7 Home Run, and 27 RBI. He continued to impress, including hitting his 7th home run of the season, a solo shot to left field, in a game against Nippon-Ham in the same league on the 8th.
