The right-hander joined the team in 2023 as the fourth-round pick in the developmental draft from BC Saitama.In his third professional season, he appeared in 14 games in the Farm League, posting a record of 1 win, 2 saves, and a ERA ERA of 1.37; however, he had not pitched since May 26, when he appeared in a Farm League exhibition game against Nippon Life (at Sugimoto Shoji BS).He is scheduled to be discharged from the hospital on the 8th and will undergo rehabilitation with the goal of making an early return to competition.
