Seibu Lions took the lead with a two-run homer, the 16th of the season, infielder Tyler Nevin.
The roaring hit soared straight into the stands. It was the first inning, two outs, runner on third. Nevin connected with a 146 km/h fastball from opposing starter Kojima, and the ball bounced in the left-center field stands.
Nevin hit his 16th home run of the season, a two-run shot that gave his team the lead. "I was able to swing aggressively and hard from the first pitch. I'm glad I was able to score the first run," said Nevin. It was Home Run since the game against Softbank Hawks on July 24th (at Belluna Dome).
