◆ Pacific League Seibu Lions 5-1 Orix Buffaloes (August 2nd, Belluna Dome)
On July 28, Seibu Lions held a fundraising event before their game against Orix Buffaloes Buffaloes (at Belluna Dome) to support victims of the earthquake that struck Kumamoto Prefecture. Team president Okumura, who is from Kumamoto Prefecture, second-team fielder coach Noda, and infielder Ryosuke Kodama were among those who participated.
The fundraising took place from 3 PM to 5 PM near the main gate of their home stadium, Belluna Dome, and it was announced that the total amount raised was 1,275,160 yen.
