outfielder Rakuto Wakabayashi, who was traded from The Giants, recorded his first hit since the trade on the 2nd.

He started as the ninth batter and center fielder for the second consecutive game. In the fifth inning, trailing by one run with one out and a runner on second, he caught a 150 km/h fastball from opposing starter Takashima, but the ball dropped potoly hit right field before right fielder. After that, with one out and bases loaded, he hit a two-run run over right fielder Hiruma for a two-run doble and a runner at second base, putting the team in the lead.

In the fourth inning, Wakabayashi made a spectacular diving catch on Ota's deep fly ball to left-center field, turning it into a fly ball to center field and drawing a huge roar of applause from the crowd. In only his second game since transferring teams, he's already making his presence felt.
