[Nippon-Ham] Kentarō Yoshinaga, a former student at Nihon University Third High School who won the Koshien in the summer of 2011 (pitcher), performed at the Escon opening pitch ceremony (sinker), while his high school alumnus Fukuya Yamazaki looked on.

◆ Pacific League: Nippon-Ham vs. Lotte (August 2nd, ES CON FIELD)

Before the game, Kentaro Yoshinaga, who won the championship pitcher in the summer Koshien of his third year at Nihon University in his third year at Nihon University, threw the ceremonial first pitch. Wearing the Nippon-Ham uniform, he threw a sinker sinking into the inside lane of Lotte's leadoff hitter Fujiwara from a beautiful pitch form. Applause erupted from the stadium at the Norban pitch, and Manager Shinjo watched with a smile. Additionally, Fukuya Yamazaki, his teammate from Nihon University Junior and alumnus Yokoo, also watched with warm eyes.

After graduating from Nichidai San High School, Yoshinaga continued playing baseball at Waseda University and JR East. He had also announced his participation in the opening pitch ceremony at Escon on his social media.
