On July 29, at Toyama Municipal Stadium, Game 2 of the Mynavi All-Star Game 2026 was held with Central League win 8-7.

Pacific League Starting pitcher Espinoza pitcher (O) pitched 2 innings, 1 hit, 1 strike out, no runs. On the other hand, Central League starter Haruto Takahashi pitcher (Shin) started the game with strong pitching by both starters, pitching 2 innings with 3 hit 1 strike out runs fastball pitching.

The game took its turn in the top of the third inning. Pacific League Mitsunari Takahashi pitcher (West) and Ryoya Kurihara (So) formed a battery for the first time in 12 years since the U-18 Asian baseball Championship, but Teruaki Sato (Shin) and Seiya Hosokawa (Center) scored back-to-back Home Run, allowing the team to score three runs first. However, with one out and runners on first and third, Ryoma Nishikawa (O) hit a timely single to bring in a run, and with two outs, Yuki Yanagita (So) hit a go-ahead three-run homer to left. The game ended 7-6 at halftime.

In the top of the 6th, Hosokawa hit his second Home Run of the game, allowing Central League to take the lead. From the 6th inning onward, Taiga Funasako pitcher (Giants) Reynolds pitcher (De) each connected the inning with a runs without the game. From the 8th inning, Shun Okamoto pitcher (Hiroshima) took the mound in. Centered around his fastball, he closer two inning runs without the game, ending the game 8-7.

Hosokawa, who RBI 3 hit including 2 Home Run, was awarded the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award. Yanagida, who hit a three-run homer to take the lead at one point, pitcher Okamoto, who closed the game with a 2-strike out scoreless runs in the second inning, and Oshiro, who marked a two-run timely doble to tie the game, were selected for the Fighting Player Award.
