On July 20, in the 13th game of Farm regular season Hokkaido Nippon-Ham vs. Yokohama DeNA held at The Fighters Kamagaya Stadium, Hokkaido Nippon-Ham lost 6-12.

Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Starting pitcher Sorato Kawakatsu pitcher gave up the lead in the first inning after Daiki Sekine hit a timely hit, but gave up five runs on a timely doble by Shuto Naruse and a bases-loaded Walk, leaving the mound with two outs and a runner on second. The next Suguru Fukuda pitcher retired the next batters swinging and struck out. In the bottom of the first inning, the lineup scored with runners on second and third with one out and runners on second and third thanks to a series of hits from player Castro and Martinez, and Naoki Arizono sacrifice fly to score a run.

In the top of the fourth, the fourth pitcher, Taisho Tamai pitcher, had two runs, but immediately after, Martinez hit his sixth solo homer, and in the bottom of the fifth, Yuma Imagawa scored a run with a timely triple. In the bottom of the sixth, Ruan Ohtsuka and Hiroki Tsuneya added three runs with consecutive timely doble. Then, in the bottom of the seventh, Uta Sakaguchi hit a timely hit, narrowing the gap to one run.

However, in the top of the ninth, Koji Fukutani pitcher hit Junpei Higazuma's third two-run homer and three timely hits to runs 5. In the bottom of the ninth, trailing by 6 runs, Yuki Umebayashi reached base with doble, but the next batter went down and the game ended. The losing Hokkaido Nippon-Ham saw pitcher Kawakatsu struggle with 3 hit 3 Walk 5 runs in 0.2 innings. The lineup scored a total of 13 hit and 6 runs, narrowing the gap to one run at one point, but couldn't mount a comeback. Martinez recorded 2 hit 1 RBI, including a solo homer of his sixth home.
