Nippon-Ham outfielder Franmil Reyes hit a powerful home run, his first of the second half of the season.

In the third inning, with a three-run lead, he stepped up to the plate as the leadoff slider. The ball soared high into the air and landed in the right side of the center field scoreboard for his 22nd home run of the season.

Reyes analyzed, "I hit slider. In my previous at-bat, the pitches were mainly inside, so I was conscious of hitting to the opposite field. I think it was the result of being able to patiently wait for the ball." He also hit a single to left field in his first at-bat, and is maintaining his good form in the second half of the season.
