Before Seibu Lions vs. Orix Buffaloes game at Belluna Dome in Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture, a moment of silence was observed for the victims of the earthquake that registered a maximum intensity of 7 in Kumamoto on the 28th.
After starting line-up for both teams were announced, all players, managers, and coaches lined up on the first and third base sides, respectively. A minute of silence was observed, accompanied by an announcement from the stadium.
