The players entered the stadium in the "All STAR Heroes Walk," a procession of fans forming a flower-lined path. Each player was introduced one by one, wearing their respective team's practice uniform.

The six Pacific League teams went first, and the event was a huge success, with Seibu Lions 's Iwaki, a native of Toyama, appearing wearing a sash that read "Today's Star." In particular, Rakuten Eagles 's Tatsumi wore the "Rakuten Eagles Card Glasses" that he wore at bat during the first game on the 28th (Tokyo Dome). Furthermore, he appeared wearing red gloves and a cape, and a necklace with Rakuten Eagles 's "R" mark around his neck, creating a look just like "Rakuten Eagles Card Man" and exciting the crowd.
