Seibu Lions ・ On the 26th, Manaya Nishikawa outfielder sent a message of encouragement to his alma mater, Hanasaki Tokuei, which secured its ninth appearance in the Koshien—its first in two years.

He has competed in the Koshien three times. Encouraging his younger teammates as they prepare to take on the challenge at this iconic venue, he told them, “Give it your all and aim for the championship—so you’ll have no regrets.”
