◆ Seibu Lions Pacific League: Seibu vs. Softbank Hawks (25th, Belluna Dome)
The players selected by the manager to appear in the All-Star Game—Seibu Lions; Mitsunari Takahashi pitcher; Kaima Taira pitcher; and second-round draft pick Hakua Iwaki (Haku-a) pitcher (Chuo University)—paid a courtesy call on the 25th to Manager Yuki Kokubo of the Softbank Hawks, who leads the Pacific League alongside Manager Fumiya Nishiguchi.
After finishing pre-game practice, the three players visited Softbank Hawks dugout with their manager. This will be Takahashi Hikaru's second All-Star appearance, Taira's fifth, and Iwaki's first.
In Seibu Lions, infielder Tyler Nevin and infielder Natsuo Takizawa have also been selected for the All-Star Game through player voting.
