The eight-member all-female group "CUTIE STREET" had two members, Aika Sano (25) and Nagisa Manabe (21), throw the ceremonial first pitch at Seibu Lions-Nippon-Ham game on the 22nd (Belluna Dome).

Having completed her important role, Sano flashed a cute smile and said, "I was very nervous, but I'm relieved that I was able to throw it properly without any problems. It was fun."

Manabe, on the other hand, revealed a behind-the-scenes story about her efforts (?), saying, "I pretended the makeup artist was catcher and practiced with him. The simulation went perfectly," which drew laughter from the audience.

Sano said, "I wanted to throw it straight, but it went a little to the right, which is frustrating," and gave himself a score of "92 points." Manabe said, "It just didn't reach bounce," and gave himself a score of "88 points," looking a little disappointed.

A mini-concert was also held before the match. They performed their signature song, "Is it not enough to just be cute?", and excited the fans in the stands.
