On the 21st, Lotte announced that Maki Goto will be attending their game against Orix Buffaloes on August 7th (game starts at 6:00 PM Zozo Marine Stadium).

The event will be held as part of "BLACK SUMMER WEEK supported by Coolish," a special summer event that has been running since 2021. Maki Goto will perform on ground and throw the ceremonial first pitch before the game, adding excitement to the stadium.

"I'm truly surprised that I'll be able to stand on mound for the ceremonial first pitch for the first time in over 20 years! I'm very honored to have been given this wonderful opportunity. I'm a little nervous because it's a different stage than usual!
