Rakuten Eagles infielder Itsuki Murabayashi (28) attended a presentation ceremony for "Jingisukan/Sapporo Classic" from Eniwa City, Hokkaido, held on the 20th during the game against Seibu Lions Lions (Rakuten Eagles Mobile).
Murabayashi received a board that read "3 cases of Sapporo Classic beer" and "5 kilograms of Jingisukan (grilled lamb)," and after sampling the Jingisukan, a local specialty of the city, he smiled broadly and exclaimed, "It's delicious!" He played a part in promoting the product.
Rakuten Eagles launched the "Rakuten Eagles Nationwide Promotion Tour" in 2023, helping local governments across Japan promote their local products and tourist attractions.
