Orix Buffaloes pitcher Leo Yamaguchi (20) joined the first team on the 19th. The 193cm, 97kg right-hander, in his second year with the team, was drafted in the third round in 2024 from Sendai Ikuei High School. He is highly likely to start in the three-game series against Softbank Hawks starting on the 21st (at Mizuho PayPay Dome). He made his debut on October 5th last year against Rakuten Eagles (Rakuten Eagles Mobile Dome). This season, he has ERA of 6.23 in 11 games in the minor leagues, but he is considered a promising prospect for the future.
