Softbank Hawks announced on the 15th that pitcher Hsu Jo-Hsi underwent a transarctic total endoscopic discectomy at a hospital in Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture, for a herniated disc in the fifth lumbar sacral vertebra of the right spine. The surgery was successful, and he is expected to return to competition in two to three months.
