The manager-selected members for the "Mynavi All-Star Game 2026" (June 28th at Tokyo Dome, June 29th in Toyama) were announced on June 13th, with two pitcher from Softbank Hawks, Osuna and Ryosuke Otsu pitcher selected. This is Osuna's second All-Star Game appearance since 2023, and Otsu's second since 2024.

Osuna got off to a slow start this season due to a lack of agreement on his playing time, but he has been consistently pitch well since joining the first team.

He has made 28 appearances so far, recording 14 hold and ERA of 0.96. He mainly pitches in the 7th inning and is once again a key part of the team's winning pattern this season. The right-hander, who has been selected for the team for the second time, said, "The most important thing is to have fun. I hope we can all enjoy it together and carry this good momentum into the second half of the season."

Otsu has been in the starting rotation since the season began, and has already achieved a career-high eight wins.

In 13 appearances, he missed a quality start (six or more innings pitched as a starter with three or fewer earned runs) in only one game. His consistent pitch with ERA of 1.89 earned him a spot in the All-Star Game.

The right-handed pitcher, whose strength lies in his diverse breaking ball, seemed excited, saying, "I want to enjoy competing against hitter like Teruaki Sato, who is also my classmate, and other top hitters in the baseball world."
