Orix Buffaloes came from behind to win, securing their first series win in two series. In the first inning, with no outs and runners on first and third, Nishikawa hit a sacrifice sacrifice fly to left field to give them the lead. In the sixth inning, trailing by one run, with no outs and runners on first and second, Ota hit a two-run doble to center field to take the lead. With one out and runners on first and third, Kita hit a timely single to right field to score the fourth run. In the ninth inning, Nakagawa hit his fifth home run of the season, a two-run shot to left-center field, and Ryoma Nishikawa hit his sixth home run of the season, a solo shot, to add to the score.

On the pitching side, starter Espinoza delivered a strong performance, allowing only four hit and two runs while strike out four over seven innings, earning his career-high eighth win. This also puts him ahead of the team in win totals.
