◆ Pacific League: Nippon-Ham vs. Seibu Lions (October 10th, ES CON FIELD)
Seibu Lions outfielder Masayuki Kuwahara hit a priceless game-tying home run. In the bottom of the 7th inning with one out and the score 0-1, he reacted to slider from Ito, who had held them scoreless up to that point. He swung aggressively on the first pitch and blasted his third solo home run of the season into the left field stands.
He beamed with a wide smile after hitting his first home run in 34 games, since the game against Nippon-Ham on April 17th (at Escon Stadium).
