Also today, as part of the social contribution project "MARINES LINKS," Ryusei Terachi visited Chiba Municipal Takasu Third Elementary School and held a presentation ceremony for The Marines Math Drill Summer 2026 issue. At the ceremony, Terachi handed out The Marines Math Drills to student representatives from each grade. After the ceremony, Terachi toured the school, interacting with the students by exchanging high-fives and other interactions. During his tour, the students also sang Terachi's cheering song in unison, giving him enthusiastic support.
The Marines Arithmetic Drill is a self-study material consisting of problems related to Chiba Lotte Marines and baseball, created in cooperation with the NPO Chiba Arithmetic and Mathematics Enjoyment Association. This is the 45th distribution since it began in 2011. The summer issue for fiscal year 2026 is produced as a review material for the learning content up to July.
The athlete visits began in 2011, but the presentation ceremonies were canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the spread of COVID-19. The program resumed in 2022, and the most recent visit took place in December 2025, when Atsuya Hirohata pitcher visited.
"MARINES LINKS" is a social contribution project in which the The Marines team, together with partner companies, supports social contribution activities led by Marines players. The name "MARINES LINKS" reflects the desire to "LINK" (connect) all people related to Chiba Lotte Marines including The Marines players, fans, local residents, government agencies, and partner companies.
