The final results of the fan voting for the "Mynavi All-Star Game 2026" (July 28th at Tokyo Dome, July 29th at Toyama) were announced on the 9th, and Rakuten Eagles infielder Itsuki Murabayashi (28) was selected in Pacific League shortstop category. This will be his second consecutive appearance, and his first time being selected by player vote. Murabayashi said excitedly, "I'm so happy and honored to have been selected by player vote."

So far this season, he has appeared in 77 games, batting .279 with 4 Home Run and 37 RBI. He has been playing consistently at shortstop since the start of the season, showing stable play. Most recently, he has been used at second base, supporting the team.

No players from Rakuten Eagles were selected in the fan vote announced on the 7th. The team's key player in both offense and defense became the first to be selected.
