The final results of the fan vote for the “Mynavi All-Star Game 2026” (July 28 at Tokyo Dome, July 29 in Toyama) were announced on the 7th. For the Lotte team, reliever pitcher was selected in the Shota Suzuki pitcher (27) category, second baseman was selected in the Ryusei Ogawa infielder (28) category, and outfielder was selected in the Misho Nishikawa outfielder (23) category.

This marks the first time in four years that three or more players from the Lotte Marines have been selected for the All-Star Game through fan voting, the last being Roki Sasaki (starter), Ko Matsukawa (catcher), and Brandon Laird (DH) in 2022.

Nishikawa, making his first selection in his second year, has a batting average of .287 with 6 Home Run and 31 RBI in 74 games this season. "I am filled with gratitude to everyone who voted for me. Ever since I was little, I have always wanted to play on this All-Star stage if I could become a professional baseball player, so I am very happy to be able to participate through fan voting. I would like to take a full swing at every at-bat. I also want to learn from the other players and make this a great All-Star game," he commented.
