The final results of the fan voting for the "Mynavi All-Star Game 2026" (July 28th at Tokyo Dome, July 29th in Toyama) were announced on the 7th, and Nippon-Ham outfielder Franmil Reyes was selected as DH for the second consecutive year. This will also be his second appearance in the All-Star Game.

So far this season, Reyes leads the league in batting average at .319, is second in home Home Run with 20, and RBI in RBIs with 47. Regarding his second All-Star appearance, Reyes said, "I'm just going to enjoy it. I'll be friendly with players I'm usually rivals with, and of course, if I get a good opportunity at bat, I want to hit for the team, but basically, I'll just enjoy it. I think that's what the fans will enjoy, and it's a once-a-year festival."

He expressed his enthusiasm for home run Derby, in which he lost to DeNA's Maki in the first round last year. "Of course, if I'm selected, I'd like to participate. Last year was my first home run Derby ever, so I was nervous and it didn't lead to a good result. This year I have more experience and I think I can approach it in a more relaxed manner, so I want to win," he said with determination.
