The final results of the fan voting for the "Mynavi All-Star Game 2026" (July 28th at Tokyo Dome, July 29th in Toyama) were announced on the 7th, and Nippon-Ham outfielder Chusei Mannami was selected in outfielder category. This will be his fourth appearance in four consecutive years, and his third consecutive selection by fan vote. He received 650,809 votes, the most votes in the league for the third year in a row.

Manami, who received the most votes in the league for the third year in a row, said, "I'm really surprised myself, and being selected last year and the year before, I feel the expectations of the fans. On the day, I hope to be able to play in a way that will give everyone enjoyment and surprise."

When asked about the reason for receiving the most votes, he frankly replied, "Well, I don't know. I'm the one who wonders about it the most every year. But the fact that I've received the most votes for three consecutive years means that there are definitely a lot of people who want to see me, so I want to do my best and I'm grateful, but I don't really know the reason."

In the 2023 All-Star Game, he hit Home Run in two consecutive games and won the MVP award in the second game. When asked about his goals for this year, he said, "It's definitely home run. I want to hit one at a time, or rather, I want to hit home run in every game I play in the All-Star Game. I don't have any goals beyond that. I would like to win the MVP award."
