On August 6th, Lotte announced that AKB48 will be making an appearance at their game against Orix Buffaloes on August 9th. The game will be held as part of "BLACK SUMMER WEEK supported by Coolish," a special summer event that has been ongoing since 2021.
AKB48 will perform a song on ground before the game and throw the ceremonial first pitch, and will also appear in events between inning. In addition, member Kisei Sato will continue to liven up the stadium as a "BSW Special Reporter" as she did last year.
