Rakuten Eagles 's Nippon-Ham suffered a come-from-behind loss, ending their two-game winning streak.

They took control of the game early on. In the first inning, with one bases loaded, Murabayashi hit sacrifice fly to center field to score the first run. In the second inning, they added more runs with sacrifice fly by Kurokawa and an RBI single to right field by Tatsumi.

However, starting pitcher Contreras, making his first appearance after joining, couldn't hold up. In the third inning, with no outs and a runner on third, he gave up a timely single to right by Hosokawa to runs. Then, in the fourth inning, Nomura hit a game-tying two-run homer, and immediately after, Yuki Kiyomiya hit a go-ahead solo homer. He was swept up in a one-off offensive and had no choice but to give up his shoulder.

Relief pitchers Uchi and Nishigaki each gave up one runs, extending the lead.
