Hosokawa hit a timely single to right to get one run back, then in the fourth inning with one out and a runner on second, Nomura's 10th two-run homer, and Sachi Kiyomiya's solo home run of the ninth and two consecutive Home Run hits, successfully took the lead. In the sixth inning, Shindo hit his third solo homer. In the seventh inning, Mannami hit a sacrifice fly to pull away.
