Nippon-Ham infielder Yuki Nomura hit his 10th home run of the season, his first since 2023 when he hit a career-high 13. In the bottom of the 4th inning with one out and a runner on second base, trailing 1-3, he hit a two-seam two seam fastball from Rakuten Eagles starter Contreras into the left-field stands for a game-tying two-run homer, his 10th of the season. The ball traveled 125 meters and reached a speed of 171 km/h. Nomura humbly commented, "I was only thinking about getting on base for the next batter. I'm happy it worked out well."
