Orix Buffaloes drew with Seibu Lions after a grueling five-hour battle, marking their second draw of the season.

In the eighth inning with a one-run lead, fifth pitcher Mukuki hit a timely doble to right center to tie the game with two outs and a runner on second. The right-hander, who had accumulated a league-high 20 hold as the "man of the eighth," couldn't hold on with his first runs in seven games. From the ninth inning, closer Machado stepped in for the second time this season. The relay of 8 pitcher prevented a comeback.
