On September 3rd, Orix Buffaloes announced that they will be holding a collaborative cheering event with the Osaka Toin High School brass band and The Buffaloes cheering squad at their game against the Lotte Marines on September 5th at Kyocera Dome Osaka. This will be the fifth time in four years that they have collaborated with the school's brass band on cheering. A marching band performance is planned on ground before the game, and cheering songs will be sung from the upper right field stands during the game.

Within the team, Moritomo, Moriyo, Ikeda, and Katsuki are all alumni of the school. The brass band was established in 2005 and has accumulated numerous achievements, including winning a silver medal at the All Japan Brass Band Competition just two years after its founding.
