Orix Buffaloes Anderson Espinoza pitcher has been decided to start in Game Seibu Lions on the 4th (against Hotto Motto Kobe). Although he pitched 2 runs over six innings, following his third loss on June 27 against Rakuten Eagles (Hotto Motto Kobe), this marks his second consecutive appearance in Kobe. "It's a truly wonderful stadium. The feeling when I pitch is also amazing, and I can pitch with a slightly different mindset compared to Kyocera," he said, excited by his mound at the semi-home stadium.

Following the earthquake in his home country of Venezuela on June 24, the team launched a fundraising campaign. Upon hearing that the total amount already reached 800,902 yen, he said with a solemn expression, "First of all, I want to express my gratitude to everyone. I've heard that there was an earthquake in Kobe in the past, and I believe that the feelings you all felt then are the same as the feelings we are feeling now... I would like to ask for your continued support."
