On the 2nd, Nippon-Ham announced that the relocation site for their farm team had been tentatively decided to be Eniwa City, Hokkaido. Manager Tsuyoshi Shinjo updated his Instagram on the same day, commenting on the relocation site.

"Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters' new farm team facility will be built in Eniwa," he announced, posting an image of the new farm team's design. "Back in 2004, when the first professional baseball team was established in Hokkaido, no one could have imagined that ES CON FIELD would be built there. And now, who could have imagined a future where the farm team would come to Eniwa, Hokkaido?"

He continued, "I am proud to be a part of The Fighters, who are creating worlds that far exceed people's imaginations. At the same time, I am most proud that this team has staff who are always striving to carry everyone's dreams." He also mentioned Ebetsu and Tomakomai, the last two remaining candidate locations, and wrote, "There must have been the efforts of many people who did not appear in the spotlight to get us here. And I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the people of Tomakomai, Ebetsu, and the other towns that raised their hands as candidate locations."

Finally, she expressed her joy with lots of emojis, saying, "Even so, what an amazing view!" and concluded with, "Players these days are so lucky!!"
