◆ Pacific League: Nippon-Ham vs. Orix Orix Buffaloes (August 2nd, ES CON FIELD)

Orix Buffaloes Buffaloes pitcher Kosei Yoshida has been removed from the active roster. He overcame Tommy John surgery on his right elbow in March 2013 and earned his first win in 649 days on June 14 against Hanshin Tigers Tigers (Kyocera Dome Osaka). He had been a key part of the bullpen and had recorded 8 hold.

In the game against the Nippon-Ham on the 30th (ES CON FIELD), he pitched one inning with a 2 runs. Since he has pitched in 20 games since his surgery, this is likely intended to give him a chance to rest and recharge.
