Rakuten Eagles allowed another run.
It was the sixth inning, trailing by two runs. With one out and runners on second and third, Terachi's breaking ball pitched by Takinaka was out, and Horiuchi on catcher couldn't catch, allowing runner to score (a walk). He gave up a painful extra run.
They then gave up back-to-back RBI hits to Terachi and Tomosugi, runs. Starting pitcher Takinaka was pulled in the middle of the sixth inning with a line of 8 hit 5 runs.
