◆ Pacific League Nippon-Ham 6-0 Orix Buffaloes (August 1st, ES CON FIELD)

Orix Buffaloes suffered their second consecutive loss, extending their series-winning streak to four games since the league resumed. Tajima, making his first start at ES CON FIELD in three years, was pulled after seven innings, having given up four runs. The offense also struggled, allowing Nippon-Ham 's Kato Takashi to get off to a smooth start.

With four games remaining at the stadium, the team is struggling with a 1-7 record, guaranteeing a losing record for the third consecutive year. Seymour, who was called up for the first time in a month for the game against Nippon-Ham on the 30th (ES CON FIELD), also failed to make an impact playing as the number 8 batter and first baseman. Their lead, which was once as high as 10 games, has now shrunk to just 3.
