Orix Buffaloes pitcher Riku Miyakuni has been added to the active roster. The third-year right-hander, who came up through the development program, started two games this season, including his professional debut. He suffered one loss and ERA of 11.57, experiencing the harsh realities of professional baseball, and was removed from the roster on June 13th.
The team finished June with an 8-12-1 record, closing the gap to 5th-place Lotte to just 1.5 games. Today's starting pitcher will be Tajima, making his first appearance at ES CON FIELD in three years, and the team hopes to secure a win by strengthening bullpen.
