He was selected for the Taiwan national team in the WBC, pitching in two games and gaining experience on the international stage. Now in his third year in Japan, the 21-year-old prospect aims to outduel the ace left-hander and secure his first NPB win.

As for Sun pitcher, he has made nine appearances in the farm league, throwing 39 inning and recording 39 strike out, honing his pitching power.He also faced the Yokohama DeNA BayStars in relief last year, retiring the side in order closer with 1 inning, including inducing a groundout from Takaki Watarai, who batted cleanup in the game on the 10th.
