Rakuten Eagles Eagles pitcher Roansy Contreras who had been sidelined due to tightness in his upper right arm, rejoined the first team on the 30th.
The right-handed pitcher, who joined the team this season, complained of discomfort in the affected area in March and was rehabilitated in the injured team. After returning to action on May 23, he appeared in five games in the farm league, recording one win and one loss with ERA of 2.49.
