◆ Pacific League Orix Buffaloes 1-5 Rakuten Eagles (27th, Hotto Motto Kobe)

Orix Buffaloes allowed Rakuten Eagles 's veteran pitcher Kishida to pitch a smooth game. Through seven innings, they only managed one run, a solo home run by Kurebayashi. Manager Mamoru Kishida was impressed, saying, "It was a really nice pitching performance. He pitched very well."

Moritomo, who had been sidelined due to an upper body injury, returned as the "number 3 hitter and hit," but went 0-At Bat 4. "It seems like the injury is fine, so this is just the beginning," he said, expressing his hopes.

Sugisawa, who was hit hard in the upper body while defense in the 8th inning and was replaced in the 9th, appears to have sustained only minor injuries. After the game, he left on his own, and manager Kishida explained, "We'll see how he's doing."
